4th of July Parade, Activities and Fireworks

Ada Township invites you to our annual 4th of July Celebration!

July 4:
Firemen's Breakfast @ Fire Station 1 (6990 Fulton St. E) from 7-9:30 a.m.

Parade Line-Up on River Street - 9:00 a.m.

Float Competition Judging Begins - 9:30 a.m. Float categories include:

  • Family/Neighborhood
  • Church/Nonprofit

Our winners in the “Family/Neighborhood” category will receive, in addition to a handsome trophy and the adulation of all Ada residents, a package of free and/or discounted goods and services from Ada businesses. (Note that businesses are no longer eligible for the competition, but we know that your competitive spirit will continue to be represented in the parade).

The winner in the “Church/Nonprofit” category will receive a $100 cash donation.

Parade Begins - 10:00 a.m.

Car Show located in The Community Church parking lot (7239 Thornapple River Dr. SE) from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Fireworks located at Ada Christian School beginning at dark/approx. 10 p.m. (6206 Ada Dr. SE)
*Parking in St. Roberts Church & Ada Congregational Church
