2022 Public Safety Millage Information
On August 2, 2022, Ada residents had the opportunity to vote on a public safety millage request because the previous millage expired in December 2021. The August ballot proposal passed by over 70%. The millage will provide funding for the operation of the Ada Township Fire Department, including maintenance, equipment and training, and for the Kent County Sheriff Department’s police protection in Ada Township.
